Welcome to White Rock and the Peace Arch Curling Club (PACC). At PACC we are excited to be hosting the 57th annual Nifty Fifty Bonspiel, a great tradition of friendship, sportsmanship, and of course, the love of curling! The theme for this year is Rock Stars.
We invited you to explore all the wonderful sites and sounds of our community and what better way than by meeting the locals in our great shops, cafes, and breweries! Seven teams visited all 12 locations and filled their Meet the Locals Bingo Card ! There was a draw out of the hat and Team Olson of Langley won beautiful pottery pieces from Breakway Pottery.
Aging gracefully is a beautiful thing ... but face it ... we all could use some extra help on the ice at times! We had a great group of 'all-star' sweepers from our men's leagues who were ready to hurry hard - at a price! Bidding was fast and furious thanks to our auctioneer Ross Scott. But having an all-star sweeper didn't guarantee a win - there were at least two losses and a tie despite their manly efforts.
Regardless, fun was had by all.

The Thomas Rink from Nanaimo was the only team
that went undefeated in the bonspiel.

Marpole's Rampton Rink had 3 wins and a tie
to take first place in "B".

Tied for 1st Place were the Flintstones from Port Moody...

...and the Hard Rock Geologists from Langley..
