Peace Arch Curling Club offers an introduction to curling for Surrey School District students taught by volunteer experienced curlers. Students will learn how to deliver a rock, sweeping technique, and rules of the game.
Class size is limited to 32 students. Cost is $5 per student per session. Typically, three sessions are taught.
Necessary curling equipment will be provided: brooms, sliders, grippers.
Students are required to wear CLEAN running shoes to the rink. They are encouraged to wear layers of warm, stretchy clothing and gloves.
